Day 1: Cape Town – Pick Up – City Tours & Table Mountain (L/P)

Arrival at the airport Cape Town upon transferred to lunch and Cape Town city tour, city to incl. drive pass Malay Quarter (photo stop), Houses of Parliament, Company Gardens and Castle of Good Hope.

Then visit Table Mountain by cableway (weather permitting).

After check in hotel and visit at V&A Waterfront and Dinner (own account).

Activities: Cape Town city tours in bus, Table Mountain ride up by cableway (weather permitting).

Day 2: Cape Town – Peninsular Tour (B, L/P, D)

Breakfast at hotel 08:00 Depart on a full day Cape Peninsula Tour drive via Sea Point, Bantry Bay, Clifton, Camps Bay (photo stop), Llandudno.

Hout Bay - Seal Island Cruise by Circe Launches

Then drive via Chapman’s Peak Drive photo stop. (weather permitting).

Lunch stop Sea Food Meal at Simon Town.

After lunch, continue to Boulders Penguin Colony, Cape of Good Hope, Cape Point Reserve and Funicular.

Dinner at Wang Thai Restaurant (in Lagoon Beach)

Activities: Seal Island Cruise, Penguin Colony, Cape of Good Hope.

Day 3: Cape Town – Clanwilliam (B, L/P, D)

Early departure from Cape Town to Clanwilliam. Enjoy the scenic route through the picturesque landscapes, behind with a drive through Grape farms until we reach the Cederburg mountains.

Explore Clanwilliam and surrounding area, including the beautiful floral diversity of the region.

Activities: Scenic drive to Clanwilliam.

Day 4: Clanwilliam – Orange River (B, L/P, D)

An early travel from Clanwilliam will see us drive through the Little Karoo all the way to the Orange River Region. Cross into Namibia.

Half day canoeing on the Orange River or relaxing by the riverside.

Activities: Visa required from South Africa to Namibia. Relaxing at Orange River

Day 5: Orange River to Fish River Canyon (B, L/P, D)

Today we visit the largest canyon in Africa and the second largest canyon in the world; the impressive Fish River Canyon. We can only stand in awe at the natures beautiful creation that has taken millions of years to form. Taking a breathtaking views and unique geological formations.

Day 6: Fish River Canyon to Sesriem (B, L/P, D)

Even though most of Namibia is desert, it has so many different shades and vistas of β€˜desert’. There is so much to see, so much to absorb. And you find yourself in the vastness of space, that the drive of today’s journey has to offer. In the afternoon we will visit the Sesriem Canyon. A long scenic drive will take us to the oldest desert and enjoy the day

Day 7: Sossusvlei (B, L/P, D)

In early morning we will make our way explore Sossusvlei. Rise early to hike up Dune 45 for stunning sunrise views. The sand dunes themselves are some of the highest in the world and Dead Sossusvlei is β€˜breathtaking’. to enjoy this you are required to do a bit of a challenging walk, depending on your fitness level.

Day 8: Sossusvlei to Swakopmund (B, L/P)

Our journey will continue to Swakopmund, with stops along the way at places of interest, like Solitaire and the Tropic of Capricorn

Day 9: Swakopmund (B)

Enjoy this day at your leisure. Swakopmund has a rich German history where many people still speak German and some German festivals are still celebrated. Take some time to explore the town.

Engage in various activities in Swakopmund such as sandboarding or exploring the local cuisine.

Activities: There is the option to visit the moon landscape in the morning. Sandboarding.

Day 10: Spritzkoppe (B, L/P, D)

Witness the Rock formation and an African sunset. The Spitzkoppe is a group of bald granite peaks in the Namib desert of Namibia. The granite is more than 120 million years old and the highest outcrop rises about 1,728 metres above sea level. The peaks stand out dramatically from the flat surrounding plains. The highest peak is about 670 m above the floor of the desert below. A minor peak – the Little Spitzkoppe – lies nearby at an elevation of 1,557 m. Other prominences stretch out into a range known as the Pontok Mountains. Hike and marvel at the impressive rock formations in this stunning area.

Many examples of Bushmen artwork can be seen painted on the rock in the Spitzkoppe area.

Day 11: Outjo (B, L/P, D)

The Twyfelfontein region is known for Brandberg, Organ Pipes and the Twyfelfontein engravings. On our way we will drive pass the Herero tribes where you will see the older women especially, dressed in the impressive headdress and vividly colored gowns. There is also the possibility of seeing the Himba people who are a complete contrast to the Herero.

Millions of years ago because of flooding, minerals soaked into fallen tree stumps. These stumps metamorphosed into stone and are now known as the Petrified Forest. It is almost impossible to believe that these were once living, oxygen producing trees.

Activities: Bushmen carvings, Basalt organ pipes, Twyfelfontein, Petrified Forest. Driving through out Outjo to visit the Himba people

Day 12 & 13 & 14: Etosha National Park (B, L/P, D)

The Mopane trees herald our arrival at the Anderson entrance gate at Etosha National Park. Let your first experience of Etosha be the waterhole at Okaukuejo camp. It is one of Etosha’s most memorable experiences. Etosha National Park is a true Namibian jewel. It is also one of the largest national parks in Africa. The white gravel roads and extensive salt pans makes for a unique wildlife experience. The animals are either covered in the ghostly white powder of the earth or contrast so strongly to it, as to create a vivid picture, on this vast flat and often dramatic landscape. On this day, we will spend a full day exploring this magnificent place.

Day 15: Okavango Region – Rundu (B, L/P, D)

Leaving all the wildlife and heard experience the transition from arid landscape of Etosha to the lush wetlands on to Okavango Region.

On our way, we drive to visit the Bushmen living and we spend the day learning the culture of the San people. After a wonderful experience with these awesome people doing the bushman village tour, we have our picnic lunch there. It is an experience of a lifetime to be connecting with these humble people.

Southern Africa’s first nation and the world’s oldest nation. The least represented and the least spoken about people. This is your opportunity to get a glimpse of a brief moment, into their lives.

Day 16: The Delta - Botswana (B, L/P, D)

The Delta experience for the Mokoro. After breakfast we pack up and leave for the border town of Rundu. It lies on the banks of the Okavango River at the border between Namibia and Angola.

There are optional activities to do as village tour/boat cruise, animals travel kilometres to come and enjoy the lushness of the delta. Mokoro (dug-out canoe) trips are offered on the delta. These prove to be a very tranquil way to explore the waterways of the delta.

Day 17: Caprivi Strip (B, L/P, D)

Travel through the Caprivi Strip, take in the diverse ecosystems and rich wildlife. Embark on an extraordinary journey through the renowned Zambezi region, formerly known as the Caprivi Strip. Travel eastward to the Mohembo border where Namibia meets Botswana, and indulge in the seamless border processes on the idyllic banks of the Okavango River, surrounded by lush gardens. Unwind at the river bar, where diverse water birds enchant with their graceful presence, offering opportunities for a Captivating sunset boat cruise, leisurely fishing or simply basking in the tranquillity of the Okavango Delta’s pan handle.

Day 18: Botswana – Chobe National Park (B, L/P, D)

Reach Chobe NP, embark on a Boat Cruise along the Chobe River, witnessing wildlife up close.

Day 19: Botswana – Chobe National Park (B, L/P, D)

Further exploration of Chobe NP, Game Drive on 4x4 open vehicle enjoy land-based safari drives in search of elephants and lions at the biggest Botswana National Park.

Day 20: Chobe NP – Victoria Falls (B, L/P)

In morning we cross into Zimbabwe for our visit to the National Wonder of Victoria Falls. The through the park to the viewing point of the falls is pretty and can get very wet, even before the falls comes into view. There can be a constant fine rain, depending on the amount of water in the falls

Activities: Visa required from Botswana to Victoria Waterfalls, Optional activities.

Day 21: Victoria Falls (B)

Full day exploring Victoria Falls, optional activities such as bungee jumping or helicopter rides available.

Please read carefully what is included and what is not. There are optional extras for those that want to do it.

Technically the only extra you need to budget for are on the days when lunches & dinners are not provided. The meal budget would be the same as what you would spend for a meal in South Africa. I don’t know what you would eat, but I would say budget maybe USD15 to USD30 a meal. If you want to grab a quick meal for example it should be much less. If you like more luxury dining, it will obviously be more.

Porter Service: our rates including 1 piece no over 23kgs luggage per person on every stop points for upload and drop down from tour transport in the journey. For example, pick up / drop off at airport, tour group a person who conveys he/she luggage to pick up point meet driver get on the luggage, and drop off area get off the luggage when tour finish. Get on/off luggage at load down point when check in/out accommodations.

Safety first: All the camps are well chosen for safety reason and they are all enclosed. Please make sure that you act responsibly.

As for Insurance, please ask your medical aid if they cover you for Southern Africa. If you want to take out insurance, please ask and we could recommend insurance.

Payment and Deposit: I am going to ask for a non-refundable deposit of 30-40% to secure your sport, with the balance due in 30 days before Tours Departures. We are all in the industry and we understand how it works.

Visas: If you do not have a SA passport, please check on the visas required or not for the countries that we are travelling through.

Very importantly I know that I am putting a lot of stress on the tourist guide/escorts and driver to make all of this possible. So after the trip please each person put a TIPS in an envelope that you will give to the tourist guide/escort and driver at the end of this tour.
